Two strategic transportation infrastructures
A total amount of approximately 240 million euros

Seymour Whyte, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction in Australia, has won two new contracts from the government agency Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) totaling approximately A$385 million (approximately €240 million):

As part of a comprehensive project to widen the M1 Pacific motorway by 15km to complete the ‘missing leg’ between Sydney and Brisbane, Seymour White will build a 5km northern section of this motorway which will bypass the town of Heatherbray. This design-build contract will be eligible for ‘Excellent’ design ratings and ‘Integrated’ delivery ratings from the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) (Australia and New Zealand).

In western Sydney, Seymour White will be involved in the project to upgrade a 6.5km section of Mulgoa Road, in a consortium with Turnbull Engineering and customer Transport for New South Wales. Mulgoa Road is a major artery connecting the community of Penrith to Greater Sydney, with 52,000 vehicles passing by per day. The work consists of widening a section of Mulgwa Road to six lanes and constructing priority lanes for public transport as well as dedicated lanes for easy commuting.
